Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna will meet on November 21 with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, who will be in Paris for the third ministerial conference of the Moldova Support Platform.
The ministers will discuss the situation in Ukraine and European support for that country in the face of Russian aggression, ahead of the Conference on Civilian Resilience in Ukraine to be held in Paris on December 13. EU-China relations, the situation in Iran and our shared commitments in the Sahel will also be on the agenda.
The ministers will also talk about the Franco-German Council of Ministers that will meet early next year and the upcoming 60th anniversary of the Élysée Treaty.
Lastly, the ministers will meet with students from an Abibac class at Lyc?ée Montaigne (Abibac classes prepare students for both the French baccalaureate and its German equivalent, the Abitur), accompanied by a representative of the Franco-German Youth Office (FGYO).
