Q: On February 28, you stated that it is absolutely urgent that the Iranian negotiations be concluded this week. The negotiations have not been concluded and according to the coordinator, that will depend once again on political decisions. How do you view the current situation and are you prepared to allow this situation to continue?
A: We are very close to reaching an agreement. It is crucial that it be concluded while there is still time, in particular before the program's advances deprive the JCPoA of its non-proliferation benefits. We are concerned about the impact of additional delays on our chances of reaching a conclusion. With our E3 partners, we are calling on all other parties to adopt a responsible approach and to make the necessary decisions so this agreement can be finalized.
